A New Home

Most of the readers of this post know me from my Patreon. I've been there for almost a year now and the platform enabled me to create something truly unbelieveable for me.

I suddenly had a job I loved doing.

But, and there is always that but, it turns out not everything is going to stay the same way. People change, companies change and so we have to adapt to our environment, especially in our industry. Making porn, or anything porn related like adult games has always been dangerous waters. Back in October, 2017 I got my first message from Patreon regarding the content of my game. Basically, in order to keep using their services, I had to censor some parts of the game, mainly the wording and characters' relationships to each other.I do not wish to stir up controversy or anything, what's done is done. Needless to say, I was not the only one who had received similar instructions from Patreon. The vast majority of us complied with their terms, we did what they asked so we could keep our jobs.

Why didn't you go to a different platform?

That's a good question. Many of the adult game developers went looking, searching for a competitive site, but we have found out that sadly, there is none as of this time. So far the way it is now has been working out for me, more or less. That doesn't mean I'm happy about it, but this is what we have to deal with for now.

However, as many of my fans and supporters pointed it out:

better be safe than sorry!

And that's why this website was created. This is going to be an independent base of operations. The Lewdlab HQ.If anything happens over at my Patreon page, you can be sure to find me (and the lewd stuff) here!

PS.I advise all my fellow developers of doing the same. Set up your own sites in case shit hits the fan.
